ALEX PAYNE,

Vendor Recruiter

SHINE VALUE: NURTURE

We are nominating Alex Payne for the Monthly Shine Award for NURTURE. Alex’s unwavering commitment to helping the team has significantly impacted the recruiting teams productivity and morale.
Key Contributions:
Exceptional Problem-Solving Skills: Alex Payne consistently tackles complex challenges with grace and determination. Whether troubleshooting recruiting prospects with licensing, insurance, or coverage issues or finding creative solutions, Alex is always ready to help.
Positive Attitude: Alex displays his positive energy daily, utilizing TEAMs and calls to engage with everyone in Recruiting. His optimism is contagious, motivating others to stay focused and engaged. Last year, he won our End of the Year Recruiting Contest, helping the team to attain our 2023 Service Partner Goal. In 2024, Alex is our top recruiter, with 22 new service partners in just two months. He is a graceful winner and uses humor to challenge others to compete with him so we can continue our trajectory and reach our goals.
Collaborative Spirit: Alex actively collaborates with team members across departments. As a former owner/operator of a property preservation company, he willingly shares his industry knowledge and expertise and supports others in achieving their goals. He communicates exceptionally well with our prospects and has a no-nonsense approach to relaying our expectations while vetting to ensure prospects qualify to work with MCS.
In February, Alex helped 38 on-hold vendors return to full access by focusing on retention efforts and collaborating with RVMs. He contacted vendors with insurance lapses and other issues to have them return to the field as soon as possible.
Reliable Support: Whenever a team member needs assistance, Alex is there. His responsiveness and willingness to assist, even during busy periods, demonstrates his dedication to team success.
Without prompting, Alex always shares best practices, links for sourcing new vendors, and lists of licensed vendors in challenging areas requiring specific licenses (Maine).
As a team, we ask for prospect scorecards from their other clients in our vetting process to confirm coverage capability. Alex went above and beyond when asked to discuss his knowledge of industry scorecards during an upcoming team meeting. He prepared a PowerPoint presentation to educate the team on identifying authentic work orders and scorecards, which significantly helped the team vetting abilities.
Impact:
Alex’s helpfulness has significantly improved our team dynamics. His contributions constantly bolster the camaraderie and trust we hold so valuable on the Recruiting Team. We can always count on Alex to provide industry guidance, encouragement, and a helping hand.

 

 

 

DANIELLE ESLICK,

SHINE VALUE: EXCELLENCE & NURTURE

People may not know the effort and length it takes to not only hire on an employee, but to handle “hiring” on all the employees for an acquisition. Danielle went above and beyond during the most recent acquisition to automate a major part of the ADP process and to ensure all employees were onboarded with little to no effort on their side. Acquired companies go through a major change and making their onboarding process smooth and easy to ease their minds was really important to Danielle. Thank you for all your effort to make a tedious process truly excellent!

Danielle was instrumental in the onboarding of the team members from the Five Brothers acquisition. She displayed the Shine Value of Nurture by making sure the onboarding process was the best experience possible for them. She worked many extra hours to ensure employee data uploaded to ADP so the new team members had access on their first day. She revamped the new hire onboarding message to tailor it specifically for the new team members to provide them as much information as possible and make them feel welcomed to the MCS family. She continues to make herself available to answer any questions or help resolve any issues they may have all while handling her day to day duties. For weeks she kept her personal schedule open so that she’d be available to travel at a moment’s notice to Warren. Danielle is always thinking of what is best for MCS team members, not just with the acquisition but for all new hires and current team members. She truly does commit her time and resources to helping others.

If you are looking to find Jazmin she is probably still at work. Jazmin works extended hours in the week to get the job done. She loves a challenge and is always trying to exceed expectations. Jazmin works closely with a great team to reach milestones each month that are always surprising. Jazmin and her team experiment with new processes to get the maximum amount of work completed each week. Jazmin is a true hard worker and does not waste any precious time.
