AARON COPELAND,

SHINE VALUE: SERVICE
I’d like to nominate Aaron Copeland for this months Shine award winner. This past month has been a very busy one for the IT Support staff. Moving to a new Data Center, onboarding Chain Store Maintenance, expanding our O365 offerings, etc. Aaron has been instrumental in all of these projects and has taken the lead on many aspects of each project. Most recently with 2 trips to Chain Store in Attleboro, MA, Aaron led the charge of installing Domain Services, Desktop Provisioning, and taking the time to sit down with each employee in the Chain Store office and walk them through their new desktop setup and how to use the new phone app, O365 apps, etc. This has been a big undertaking with so much change for the new staff members, but his level of professionalism and commitment to excellence has made the Chain Store integration very smooth.

SHINE VALUE: HUSTLE
Paul is the only technician in the Atlanta Service Center which means he has to cover the entire city. No matter the task Paul’s answer is always yes he can… yes he can squeeze in one more work order today even though it will take him an hour to get to that side of town, yes he can drive two hours to Columbus to do a small turn for a client, yes he can work on Sunday to make sure everything is covered. Paul has a can do attitude and is no stranger to hard work. We are grateful to have him.

SHINE VALUE: INTEGRITY
Carlos has exemplified excellence through turbulent times in the Orlando Service Center through his steadfast approach to project management. He rose to the occasion during a recent leadership change and is now the foundation through which the Orlando Service Center is producing quality turns and renovation projects. His consistent communication has gained the respect of clients allowing MCS to gain trust and additional project volume. He treats his team with respect earning their loyalty and establishing a culture of hard work and integrity.
Over the last few months, I have been assisting the Orlando service center, and in that time, there have been a lot of changes to processes, procedures, and staff. It’s been a huge adjustment for the staff that was around before the changes and made it through to the other side with us. Carlos did everything that was asked of him plus some with a positive attitude, then went above and beyond to assist others in acclimating to the new normal. Everything I’ve heard him say or seen him do over the last few months was in service to MCS, our employees, and our clients.

Enrique Ramirez showcases Hustle! He’s in the middle of everything related to IT/system Change Request process, gathering requirements, running kick-off meetings. He’s always assigned to lots of high priority and time sensitive projects, he must constantly pivot and adapt to priorities change. He was recently selected to help map a high priority system, which is a large undertaking. He’s worked hard for many years, and he is someone you can always count on to be direct, ask questions, follow-up, and follow through on what he says. Thank you for your HUSTLE and being a dependable and flexible colleague throughout your years at MCS.
