Lewisville, TX – August 20, 2024 – MCS (or the “Company”), the national property services leader, is once again giving back to communities with employees volunteering to assist local charitable and nonprofit organizations across the country.

During the summer, nearly 150 MCS employees from the Company’s Lewisville, TX; Tampa, FL; Warren, MI; Attleboro, MA; and Ruston, LA operations donated their time to provide assistance in their local communities by participating in a variety of community service activities supporting local community charitable organizations.

Each MCS location chose its own community volunteer project and worked in collaboration with the local organizations to determine where the most impact could be made. Highlights of the activities MCS employees participated in include:

• Lewisville, TX: The MCS team in Lewisville volunteered at Crossroads, a Dallas area food bank designed to strengthen families by building nutrition-stable communities. The MCS team spent a day stocking goods and helping families and community members select food items. This unique organization is revolutionizing the pantry distribution model by creating a true shopping experience for those in need, allowing them to shop for their own groceries.
• Tampa, FL: The MCS team in Tampa volunteered at Metro Ministries, and assisted in cooking and serving lunch, as well as contributing to the 3,000 meals the organization prepares and serves daily. Metro Ministries provides comprehensive services for at-risk and homeless families in underserved and impoverished communities throughout the Tampa market.
• Warren, MI: The MCS team in Warren spent a day working at Forgotten Harvest, a local food bank, which included stocking and sorting canned goods and preparing deliveries. Forgotten Harvest delivers surplus food each day to charities within the Detroit community, providing families in need with fresh and nutritious food.
• Attleboro, MA: The MCS team in Attleboro volunteered at the popular local Capron Park Zoo for a day, which included painting buildings and railings throughout the entire facility. The Zoo’s mission is to inspire passion for wildlife, nature and its conversation locally and worldwide.
• Ruston, LA: The MCS team in Ruston spent a day working at the City of Ruston Animal Shelter, helping take care of the many animals housed at the clinic and assisting with general handiwork around the facility. Some of the MCS team members even adopted new pets during their volunteer day, giving some animals in need of care a new home.
