Building Local Team of Project Managers and Service Techs to Serve Property Owners and Financial Institutions with Field Property Solutions

Columbus, OH – April 11, 2023MCS, the national property services company founded in 1986, announced the opening of its own self-performing Service Center in Columbus, OH. The Service Center is staffed with a market director, project managers, inspectors, estimators and highly trained service technicians to execute the field property services needs of the firm’s, Commercial, Residential Rental and Mortgage Services lines of business.

This latest announcement follows the recent expansion of MCS self-performing coverage during the first quarter of 2023 in key markets including Dallas and Tucson.

MCS’s Columbus Service Center currently has a team of 15 to manage the field services needs of its customers across the region including Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Central Illinois, and is recruiting to add more positions over the next few months, helping support the community through new jobs and economic investment. MCS is actively recruiting licensed, certified project managers and technicians who can perform a full range of property services within the property management environment, as well as seeking qualified, third-party service partners to provide additional support in key trades to perform property maintenance, inspections, repairs and rehab services.

MCS also announced that Daniel Neff has been appointed the Columbus Market Operations Director. Neff brings over 10 years of construction an operational experience along with a vast network of local connections to MCS’s Columbus operation. Additionally, Neff is a Platoon Sergeant in the U.S. Army.

MCS’s hybrid service model combines its own “boots-on-the-ground” services with its expansive network of local vendors to create efficiencies, enhance quality control and code compliance, and ensure transparency for owner/operators through aggregation and innovative technology-driven processes.

Each Service Center leverages MCS’s own self-performing teams with regional know-how and connections, along with a network of local service providers, to facilitate the most appropriate property servicing solutions on everything from inspection services and occupied maintenance to turns and renovations for SFR properties, as well as preserving foreclosed and vacant properties. MCS Service Centers also provide a robust suite of offerings for commercial/retail locations, including general maintenance, landscaping, electrical and lighting, parking lot maintenance and plumbing, among others.
